When it comes to curating an event that not only showcases ultimate talent but also promotes women empowerment, there is no better partnership than that of SpaceLand and LoveMade. As a result of all the positive feedback and responses to the initial FLYGRLS LA event - LoveMade and SpaceLand joined forces once again on April 7, 2016.
For those that were in attendance, they had the opportunity to experience some of the hottest moves choreographed by Ellen Kim and her team of talented dancers. While Hueman created some art masterpieces, Kittens, Bella Fiasco, Sasha Marie and Astronautica blessed the decks playing everyone’s favorite hip hop and electronic tunes. The choice in talent was exquisitely executed yet again, making it just as iconic as the first.
Well-renowned brands such as Melody Ehsani, Reebok Women and Ladies First joined the team to help promote and support the movement. Star-studded leading women in design, business and fashion came together for one night, making the second FLYGRLS LA an official success. The attendees danced the night away to the latest tunes in rap and hip hop while reminiscing the 90’s funky vibes.
Driven by our goal to help raise awareness to women's homelessness in Los Angeles, FLYGRLS LA will continue to ride the momentum of the movement with sights set on future expansion.
